Opta’s Supercom AI has revealed that. Manchester United chances of finishing in the top four in the Premier League this season have dropped by 35 per cent.

Before the 2023-24 season, Manchester United had a 1.70 percent chance of winning the Premier League. But now it’s just 0.09 percent.

Meanwhile predictions for United’s performance have dropped dramatically. One of their league rivals turned out to be soaring in new predictions.

That’s Angel Postecoglou’s Spurs, who have started the season superbly. And their chances of finishing in the top four have increased in percentage terms.

Before the start of the season, Opta claimed Spurs had a 9.5 per cent chance of returning to the Champions League. But after taking 10 points from their first four games. Supercom said they have a 31.86 percent chance of making the top four.

Meanwhile, Supercom stated that Arsenal would finish 2nd at first. But recently changed to Liverpool to finish 2nd and Arsenal following in 3rd.

With Newcastle, Supercom initially said they had a 24.8 per cent chance of qualifying for the Champions League. But now it’s only 16.69 percent.

Similarly, Chelsea have a 16 percent chance of finishing in the top four. But after a poor start to the season, Supercom said they only had a 1.1 percent chance.
