Marseille coach Roberto De Zerbi has informed Jordan Veretout, Chancel Mbemba and Samuel Chicot that they can leave the club.
The Italian has taken on a key role at Marseille after parting ways with Brighton. With OM’s transfer team having tried to strengthen their squad in order to give De Zerbi a fighting squad.
Promotion ufabet recently reported that Italian coach has considered the departures of his players. Having informed Veretout (31), Mbemba (29) and Chicot (30) that they can now look for new teams.
All three were key players for the club last season. But with structural change and a new manager, are now unsecure regular places. De Zerbi has also signalled that he is free to find a new club.
Another factor is that Marseille are looking to raise funds to bring in new players. With De Zerbi believing that selling the three experienced players would give the club the money it needs.
Previously, Marseille add two big players, Mason Greenwood and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, to the team. While now there is news link with strikers Eddie Nketiah and Hwang Hee-chan could be set to follow them in switching the Premier League for Ligue 1.
However, to fund De Zerbi’s plan spending several departures will have to be made and the trio recently place in the loft may contribute to this..
