Liverpool midfielder Dominik Soboszlai has become the latest to say that new head coach Arne Slots is different to former manager Jurgen Klopp, particularly in terms of attacking style and when he is out of possession.
Soboszlai is about to enter his second year as the ‘Reds’ and there has been a significant change in the coach. He just entered the training camp after the Euro 2024 tournament with the Hungarian national team. Therefore, what he is focusing on is getting fit and learning the new boss’s methods.
“The second year is always better, like last year we finished third in the league and won the Carabao Cup,” he told LFC TV.
“This year, we are back to play in the Champions League again, a familiar place, and we want to show our potential and chase the English Premier League title.”
“I feel very good and ready for the new season. Big games ahead, big season, new challenges so I think everyone is ready.”
As for Slot’s team management methods, ยูฟ่าเบท from what I’ve experienced from the 23-year-old player. I don’t think they’re exactly the same as Klopp’s. Even though they have some common points.
“There are some differences – the style of play, the way we play. The way we play with the ball and without it,” the Hungarian captain added.
“Everyone has been informed by the coaching staff, so we have to learn as we go. I think everyone is happy about that. Let’s see what happens next.”
“As for the pre-season in the US, it was very good. The weather in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was good – a bit better than Liverpool. As for the training sessions, they were tough, but that was reasonable for the purpose.”
